| Drug
Misuse is the accidental or purposeful qualitatively
definable administration of a substance in which the resulting effect produced
is unanticipated, unwanted, and does not result in any intended
resolution, independent of any measurable quantities. Drug
misuse is most common among young children, senior citizens, and
physicians in which there is the lack of a physician-patient partnership,
but it is as pervasive as drug abuse. It is largely an educational
and communication disorder. |
When ignorance is prevalent, drug misuse is so
commonplace that it seems normal, which is the way it is today. Every drug
has benefits and side effects. An educated individual lowers the
cost of healthcare.
