| MAKING
"AMERICA DRUG-FREE"

The
Partnership for a Drug-Free America is a organization designed with
curious motives and perpetuating failures. Everything from the
founding of their organization to their goals and their vision of
the future is skeptical. They are an organization that does
nothing to prevent kids from initially falling into abuse.
They merely wait for the bomb to go off and then they step in to
tell parents and children: "SEE WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU DO BAD
THINGS! YOU SHOULD HAVE LISTENED. NOW JOIN US; GIVE US
YOUR MONEY SO WE CAN MAKE YOU FEEL THAT YOU ARE NOT ALONE... SO WE
CAN COLLECT FROM OTHERS AND BUILD UP A NATION OF PEOPLE WHO REGRET
NOT LISTENING."
Waiting
for someone to fail and then punishing them is not the way to
control drug abuse, it's just a way to gain CONTROL of people who
are in a bad situation... to PASS JUDGMENT AND CONDEMN using the
vast amounts of energy from their guilt to build strength and turn
it into a destructive challenge that impacts others. The
Partnership for a Drug-Free America:
- Memorializes
the ignorant who have died from not knowing how to use
substances.
- Publicizes
stories of those who are in recovery (A Puritanical practice
from the days of the Scarlet Letter)
- Provides
oversimplified and misleading information about drug use and
substances with emphasis on the side effects.
- Drains
the wallets and energies of those who feel guilt-ridden by their
experiences.
The
name Partnership for a Drug-Free America, lends itself to certain
clues about the organization and what they promote. A closer
look at their organization reveals that they could care less about
your family member who experienced an overdose. As far as they
are concerned, they have nothing but animosity for anyone who uses
drugs. Why would so many people simply resort to them for
help? The answer is simple: People with family members
or friends who have died from an overdose are led to believe that
they are responsible or that there was no way to control the
"sickness" that overcame their loved one.
IF
THERE IS ONE THING THAT YOU SHOULD LEARN FROM THIS WEBSITE, IT IS
THAT IGNORANCE IS NOT A DISEASE OR A DISORDER. IF IT WAS A
DISORDER OR A DISEASE THE ENTIRE VOTING POPULATION OF THE UNITED
STATES WOULD BE DISABLED. Does this mean that users of illict
drugs should be incarcerated? NO! It means that
researchers are NOT doing their job in understanding the phenomena
of a chemical society. The very foundation for supporting
research is to understand. Organizations like the Partnership
for a Drug-Free America turn personal grief into a pain that
everyone should share. Meanwhile, these people are no better
off than anyone else. If they were, they would be exercising common
sense and developing a better strategy to promote education.
